After making several quilts I have a bunch of mismatched scraps in my stash drawer. You know what I mean a little bit of this and a little bit of that. So me being the organized type of person I am I went out there and decided to empty it out and use it up somehow.

My Son is the only one I have not made a quilt for so this is a good reason as any to make him one. This will be a spin off of my MIL's Proud Mary pattern but smaller strips and it will still be hand tied between the SITD strips.

I just grabbed the left over material and cut it up in 3" and 2 1/4" strips all different lengths and colors. I know that I need to keep the light and darks separated but thats the only rule I am using on it.

This should be an interesting but fun quilt to say the least, and since it is still cold out in my studio I am going to use my 1921 66 Red Eye to sew this one up too.
