Hi I'm Genavieve. I'm new to quilting and a student from University of Oregon. My mom taught me to sew this last Christmas and I made about 10 sets of pot holders for my family. I'm in the United States Army and was actually surprised how much I would love sewing. I just recently made some catnip pouches for the local animal rescue and worked on some double sided aprons for my nieces.
Since I am away at college(away from my mom/teacher), I am looking for someone local who can maybe help me touch up my skills. I am always up for ideas and new patterns to try out. My mom encouraged me to join this site in hopes of meeting some quilting friends(her username is Elisabrat) so please feel free to message me and give me suggestions.
