I'm making a donation quilt for our grandkids' school silent auction. I agonized over a pattern, then chose this "twisted 9 patch". I wanted to mix up the colors all over it. Have I gone too far??

I've got all the squares made and joined into groups for QAYG. My plan after that is to add a white-on-white border, a colored border (one of the colors from the patches) and then another WOW border.

I don't want to be embarrased or to embarrass the kids with an "ugly" quilt!

What do you think??    :?:
