been there...the night that it flooded twice and went back down and then the third time, it was sewerage and stayed...YUCK!...I was sitting on top of the washer and crying. My husband was out of town on business and my boys and my grandfather slept thru it all....
Sorry to hear about your flood...I used to keep 4 paint cans behind the basement sofa so that I could put the cans under the legs of the sofa...
BTW, we have flood control, now.
