JoAnn's sold off all of the fat quarters, had the bins empty for a couple of weeks, refilled NEW bins with the same fat quarters for 49 cents more! How's that?
my understanding to that was there was an issue with the old FQ and so they had marked them down to clear out...
As to the selvage, when I ask my LQS to make a FQ for me from a bolt, they cut a half yard, then turn the ruler to the fold line and trim the tiniest bit off there to make two pieces, then go to the selvage side and remove whatever is needed to get to 22"...
