Okay after laying out the first part of the quilt I decided to SCRAP that pattern and make Pinwheels! :)
I had enough of each scrap fabric to make a pinwheel panel so it will end up being a scrappy pinwheel. And I think it will look much nicer.
I'm afraid the scraps I used with the tan colored fabric didn't carry much of an impact, but when they are pinwheels it make more of a statement. So now I'm just assembly sewing my triangles together.
So we'll see how far I get this weekend, depending on the weather. If it's 70 and sunny outside I will be out enjoying the spring weather. Otherwise I will be downstairs working on the machine and watching Designing Women dvds. :P
