Grrrrr- I m making a flannel rag quilt. with both sides the same pattern with batting in between. Each time I sew a square together, I am ending up with normal seams, not open seams. I have tried right sides facing out-still no fix. Since I really don't have a wrong side to sew together any ideas? I am tearing out my gray hair(s) one by one. Can't be this difficult, but as a beginner it seems impossible. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
