I like Maxine and enjoy reading her quips. One thing about this lady (or her author) is that she is honest and tells it blunt and tells it like it is on most subjects. I probably would use her on projects (tote bag) other than quilts. The individual pictures would be kind of "busy" on the quilt patterns. As you all know, I am just a beginner and would not know how to use the cartoons.
