I know sewing machines can be expensive. To start out if you do not want to purchase a new one , check out places where people go to have theirs repaired and also places that fix vacuums amazingly have alot of good used machines very inexpensive. My friend goes to these places and trades in sewing machines and vacuums that need minor repairs and or cleaning to get other items like used dishwashers and such they may need. I have purchased sewing machines in the past with basic stitches for as little as $25.
