I just had the whole feed dog panic thing just this evening. I was trying to figure out if I could move my needle one way or the other. Reading in the book I noticed that I could lower the feed dogs to do FMQ or darning. I have had this machine for awhile, but never needed to do either. Anyway, I found the button to lower the feed dogs hiding on the back on the machine. the feed dogs lowered just fine, but then I could not figure out how to get them back up. I did what the book said and nothing. My husband came in to see what I was fussing about. He looked at the book and then the machine and said to turn the wheel and poof, it worked.
It does show in the book, but it shows it from straight on in the back not the front. How embarrassing.
