I haven't included any lessons on this one. They knew that I was going to make it and that their pictures would be one it. -that's really all here.

I would like to do another quilt with them, perhaps a Downey quilt http://www.quiltsforkids.org or even one that will be a part of our silent auction to benifit our school. In this lesson I would like to include some multiplication facts, area and perimeter of pieces on the cutting board, and "if I start at 4 and my piece is 2 and 1/2 inches wide, where will I cut?" kind of thing. Then "how many squares do I need to make it 'so' wide?"... "how big will it be when it's finished?" (area and perimeter again)... those kinds of questions.
