Well it rides the carriage along the tracks. Just think the reverse of free motion quilting under your sit down machine. ( you would normally move the quilt,but with this set up ya move the machine.) Some of these other ladies might be able to explain it bettter. I drewl ova the real long arms! I think they concider mine a short arm??
Does the carriage move side to side or does it allow you to go back and forth too? Does it move in more than two directions?
