You all speak as if you only have ONE seam ripper. At last count, I've got 4. Two float around the sewing table as needed. One (an ergonomic one) is in the carry sewing box and a fourth has been known to be found in my car. My church sewing group ladies weren't surprised when I could produce a ripper on a non-sewing day.
