My daughter and I designed and made this quilt for my GS 4th grade class. Each class through 5th grade makes a quilt for the auction. We made it reversible hoping to attrack more bids. One side is the classroom side. I machine appliqued helmets, footballs and jerseys on the blocks. The kids hand embrodiered the strings on the footballs, their names on the jerseys and the diamonds on the helmets. They did a really nice job. The center block is the teacher's block with her name, class, and year. The reverse side is steeler logos and coordinating fabric. It is hand tied with embrodiery floss. Finished size is 80 x 80"
