For family, I'd start with apiece of fabric large enough to cover the area; wrong side out, pin to shape, tucking /folding where needed. take it off your mannequin, sew, turn right side out... for company, I'd go rent something for the time you need them, & store those . It is for family, but it doesn't have to be extravagant. Just my mom, my brother and his family. I have 4 cars and a toddler who had distroyed the chairs. I'm going to try and peel all that vinal covering off and do the wrong side pinning method! Now I just have to decide on fabric!!!
