Thank you AmyS. That's what I'm using now and want to make my ironing space bigger by my machine. I'm afraid the steam from the iron is going to ruin my cabinet.
my husband got a piece of plywood, stapled batting,and a piece of musulyn to it. you can use bolts to hold to reaguler Iron board. the plywood can be 1/2 inch thick 45 to 60 long and 24 to 36 wide. this was on make it yourself quilt ironing board, I don't have a sewing room so I did not screw mine on, but it would be more stable to bolt on, mine works great.
