There is new way of paper piecing now where you don't have to rip all the paper off. You don't actually sew through to the paper. There are courses and tutorials but can't find them right now. That is a beautiful quilt and i LOVE paper piecing!!
I saw a show on that recently Tricky, but I can't remember if it as Fons and Porter or Simply Quilts, or what. But I loved the technique! So much easier to fold the paper along the sew lines and sew right next to them then to sew through the paper and have to rip it all out!! And, you don't have to print out a gabillion pattern pieces. You can use them over and over again. Great technique!
