Sherri.....I make templates from the Carol Doak patterns.
It makes it so much easier when fussy cutting. I also put a dot at the corner of all the pieces on the wrong side....matching is a snap....I have been paper piecing about 4 years and belong to Carol Doak group...I recomend it to all beginners...the members and Carol are fantastic and very helpful...As for books check your library
