Yup that's true - I'm just too lazy to read the manual and see how to do it. Every time I switch on and then have to click the needle over, I say to myself, 'oh yeah, Kathryn, save this into memory' then I forget! :lol: The needle position of 6.5 is for the Acufeed 1/4" foot which I bought as an extra because it came with the needle plate with the smaller hole - (I wanted that for FMQ) not the regular 1/4" foot that is supplied with the machine - that is at 5.5, you're absolutely right! :D
