Cauliflower was one thing my mother never even had me try. I don't think she even made it when we had meals together. She always kind of ate it privately. Which was fine with me, because to me cauliflower (and broccoli) looked like some kind of alien life form, like it didn't even come from this Earth.
And now? They're two of my favorite vegetables.
