Younger folks don't believe me & look at me sideways when I tell them we didn't own a TV until I was 9 yrs old. You did the right thing, in my opinion, by turning the TV off. Your Amanda didn't have the distraction then, she had your attention & your teaching skills. You're the best. The world needs more like you.
