I took the friendship star pattern and did half square triangles for the background half of the star point and made one the background and the other another shade of the star point. I am sure there is a pattern somewhere (probably quilter'scache) but I can not for the life of me find it or remember the name.

Here are pictures of the completed room minus the quilts on the walls as I have to have the wood hangers made for the quilts.
