I have been watching and learning from this site now for a few weeks and have learned so much! I am a not a brand new quilter but work full time and don't quilt as much as I would like. I recently obtained a Singer Featherweight 221 (Circa 1954) and cannot wait to take it to my LQS to have her tuned up. I also have a Singer Treadle Machine (Circa 1919) that I will get tuned up this summer. It needs a new belt. I was considering getting it converted to electric but want the experience of treadle sewing before doing that. I have a Pfaff 2042 Quilt Style sewing machine. I live in Portage, MI (just south of Kalamazoo). I am a mom to 2 golden retrievers who are my sewing companions. I look forward to reading and learning from all of you.
