Thank you so much everyone!
To just sum it up she had started complaining of her forehead hurting in October. (she was 3 at the time is now 4). In the beginning I thought maybe a headache. Well time wore on and they increased in frequency and duration and sometimes motrin helped sometimes it did not. She then started spiking fevers, complaining of back pains, stomach pains, side pains. She ended up with 2 UTIs first one diagnosed in December second one this month. I thought in the beginning she may have what I do (Intracranial hypertension) but they have ruled that out so we were going to all kinds of specialists. Well when they confirmed the second UTI this month they sent her to a pediatric urologist which is where we went today. She had an ultrasound done last Thursday. It turns out she is not emptying her bladder completely when she goes to the bathroom. She may have hydronephrosis (which is basically urine reflux) or it may simply be because she is an extremely gassy child (which the doctor said is just as bad as constipation because the bowels having issues can cause the urine flow to become hindered) He has put her on a daily antibitotic and stool softener regiment and we go back in 4 weeks. If she is still not voiding 100% then they will do a UVCG (which is a catheter put in to determine if the urine is flowing back up) and go from there. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is just the urine is not voiding 100% which can cause infections due to her gas...we shall see.
Thank you all again for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes. It has been painful to watch my baby crying over the last several months because she hurt....I finally feel like we are seeing light :-)
Hugs
April
