Would it be quicker and easier to trim the 1 1/4" to 1" and decide that it was meant to be that way?!
Yesterday I finished a UFO that a deceased friend had started many years ago. I had it all quilted and was trimming it, ready for the binding. During the trimming I discovered why she had put it aside--one of the big triangles of the twisted star was blue while all the rest were purple!!! Where were my eyes the day before??
File this one under "What Was I Thinking?" (Maybe that's why it was in her UFO's??!!
