Well, I can feel your frustration because I know it all too well myself. I am a new quilter and because of poor guessing at 1/4, I am now paranoid and use my tape on edges then use marker until I have that uncanny knowledge by heart on what is a 1/4 seam.
Remember to focus on the finished product and the love behind it.
