My daughter contacted the manufacturer and they told her to cut the strap off and send it to them and throw the rest away. They offered her a choice of 4 items as a replacement since I just sent her one (Mei Tai carrier) I made this past weekend.
Yeah I had found one for my daughter too and let her know.. to get rid of it ;( scary stuff !!!
