Hi, I am Ken from Southern California, thought I should introduce myself after reading posts for the last month. I make quilts for charities, along with repairing and restoring old sewing machines. Singer 221 featherweights are my favorites, I restore and refurbish both machines and cases. My wife taught me to quilt about seven years ago, now I do the quilting and she does the bindings (I cannot sew by hand). We make our own tops and backs, I quilt them on a short arm quilter. Two of the charities I make quilts for are My Stuff Bag Foundation and Loma Linda Hospital.
