*A yoga mat (thick and cheap) at the cutting table will save your feet and back. Bought mine at Walmart.
*Surge protector strip for sewing machines/sergers/Ott light.
*Wide top for ironing board for ironing fabric yardage.
*If you're lucky enough to have a closet with sliding doors, use it for your fabric - easiest way to keep the sun from fading it - just close the doors. I put floor to ceiling shelves in mine.
*Use Rubbermaid lazy susans on the TOP shelf(or a shelf that's an easy reach for YOU)for things I don't use often - like spray starch, spray adhesive, spray water bottles. I keep jars of safety pins, buttons etc there, too.
