Funny you mention a Back-clamp 66, I am using mine right now to make and quilt my sons quilt on.
I just acquired another 185J the same day I got my FW and it will be treadle operated before its over with. I have to do a repaint on it when it gets here and its going to be a cream with a pearl gold midcoat with the gold Singer decals on the arm like the factory offered. And it will have a gold faceplate with the gold pearl mid coat also.
I would love to have a Pfaff treadle, a friend of mine has one and she loves it!! But vintage sewing machines are a rare find here and most of them are Singers when you find them. Thats why I have my network around the country picking them up for me and hanging on to them till I can come and get them.
