What is an 'I spy' quilt. I should know this but I don't . Please and thanks.
An I Spy Quilt is a child's quilt. It is a game, "I SPY a dragon............," and the child finds the dragon in one of the blocks, etc.

I Spy was a book that came out maybe 10 (?) years ago and a lot of the square and charm quilts are a spin off from the original idea.

Barb

Thanks Barb. I love making kids quilts and that will be my next one thanks to you. Carol
Carol,
A word of caution: I Spy quilts can be addictive! I do all of mine out of novelty fabrics, fussy cutting alot of the motifs. I try and make sure not to have two fabrics the same (unless I am doing a Match Game quilt, but that's another topic!) I think I have more fun selecting fabric and cutting out the squares than the kids do playing the game!

:D
