To all who have asked for the pattern: I found it. I have a book from 2004 Leisure Arts "Stars in a Twinkling" with 8 star quilts that are amazing. This quilt was strip pieced, no Y seams. Goes togather well. They are rated 1 thru 5 with this being a 5. Thanks to all who have left comments, they are appriciated.
