I"m just too old to go out and buy another sewing machine now, but when I read things on this forum about all the different stitches and things on the newer ones, I do dream a little. My niece bought an embroidery machine for her very first sewing machine , and while she can't sew clothing, she really got into putting ermbroidfery on everything. LOL Now she is doing some quilting. Her first try was a king size. She machine quilted it, and when I asked her how it came out( I had a very bad experience when I tried machine quilting), she said it was great and so easy. But then, she said she didn't worry about the pleats and such on the back side, they don't show! I had a good laugh at that, but I am so proud of her and all she has learned to do. I"ve taught her a lot over the internet and the phone, and we laugh a lot together.
