There has been so much interest in this block, I'll tell you all the story! This block is called "Friendship's Card" and is one of the 12 blocks in the Patchwork Party Spring 2009 project. You can Google that to find out about the Party, but I'll also tell about it. Unfortunately I have not seen one for this year although there were other projects from Patchwork Party before the one I did. I saw an add in a mag telling about the Party and the block shown was sort of the logo block that made me want to do the quilt. How it works...

Each of 12 quilt shops picks a block design and you can buy the pattern and the fabric from each shop for $7.00, no shipping and you get a little charm with each! Also each shop has its own "finishing" design - that's the expensive part! A lot more than $7, but so it should be. It's a great idea for the shops to advertise and get you to go to their sites.

I loved this block so much that I ordered a 2nd one to make this little hang-up for my dear cousin in Canada who is also my best friend. She was the one who started me on this Quilt Journey.
Here's another picture of the whole quilt which I am now quilting for my brass bed!

Yippee, it fits!
