I started sewing as a kid. Made a lot of my clothing into my '30's. Then life just got so busy that I rarely sewed anything other than to do mending. About 12 years ago, my mom bought several quilt books at a garage sale. The quilts were so pretty that I got hooked.
Now, I am so happy to be retired and have the time to try all those quilting things I didn't have time to try before!
