If I am making a quilt with turnovers and charms, would I prewash the background fabric and backing? I know not to pre-wash the pre-cuts, but what about the yardage fabric I use with the turnovers/charms and the backing? I have always been a prewasher, so this is new to me. Should I stick to the theory of..."pre-wash it all or not at all?"
