The bargello I made had 20 different fabrics from two color groups. 5 from one (I used purple) and 15 from another (I used pink). I used some blenders, batiks and some small print fabric. The pattern I had called for 5/8 yard of each, but I'm not sure why because that was almost double what I ended up needing of each.
