Hello and welcome from Illinois. Glad to have you aboard. About your split rail not being perfect, no quilt is. If you ever come across a quilter that says their quilts are perfect, that would be a person to stay away from because if they'll lie about that, they'll lie about anything. LOL LOL LOL
