he asked me if people still flew the American Flag..they did right after 9-11..for a year or so..The Pride showed.
and now..not so much.
i still fly the flag on a large straight pole. it gets lowered to half staff when a Michigan soldier is KIA. It stays lighted up at night.
from what started as a whole block of houses flying it 9 years ago..to about 5 or 6 of us. (i have old Marines living on both sides of me..)
