I am so thrilled that I just had to share with you all. This is granddaughter #5. (we have NO boys!!)
Chloe Minna arrived yesterday afternoon at 4:49 and weighed in at 7 lbs 5 oz. Minna was my mother-in-law's grandmother's name--so it is Chloe's great, great, great grandmother!!
My daughter did not want anyone at the hospital with her except her husband---and I was at her house babysitting, anyway. BUT, her husband--the family IT man--set up a live feed for us on his laptop so family was able to chat with them, watch my daughter labor (which only lasted 3 1/2 hours!!!) and then see the baby when she was only minutes old!! It was ALMOST as good as being right there.
Of course, I was there shortly after, with "big" sister.
