The easiest pattern I have ever made uses 2x 3 1/2 inch pieces cut from 2 inch strips. It is beautiful when made with all batik fabrics.
The pattern is called Spectrum by Judy Turner. No seams to match and is a 6 1/2 inch block made like a log cabin with just one row outside the center. It chains togather very easy, I have 25 blocks going at once.
