My mother has done everything under the sun, I'm not even joking! (Knitting, crochet, crewel, lace, pulled thread, weaving on looms, rugs, cross stitch, and some other stuff I don't know what it's called... and that's just needle work)
I'm showing her how to quilt, she's just learning that now, but she teaches Bunka, also called japanese embroidery, or needle punch embroidery. It's BEAUTIFUL work, painstakingly long, but WOW.
