We split my grandmas ashes, The BIG urn went down stairs to my grandfather, it now sits in my ungrateful aunts bedroom covered in what is on her dresser. I post about her in my diary thread thing... We have a small urn sitting in our kitchen in this big window that we keep a lot of her collected Elephants, sort of like a shrine to my grandma.
We used to have my grandmothers urn in the living room but our cats kept trying to get it... they just wouldn't leave it alone.
One day my Abuella (step grandmother, step dad is from mexico and she said we could call her abuella, well she told Jorge we could...) said that the cats are trying to tell us something about the urn, so I'm like mom, Grandma liked to be in teh kitchen all the time why not move her there.
So we did, and the cats NEVER bothered the urn again.
