Thanks everyone!! This quilt will always be special to me - it has some special fabrics in it - one, the very dark green that REALLY shouldn't be there! Was given to me by a lady of 80 (she is 80 now!) it was in her Tennis skirt that she used to wear in the 1940's!! and others are from clothes my Mother made me as a child - others given to me by friends some now gone before us. I enjoyed working out the corners with my Husabnd not long after we met - he was hooked by then!!

Unfortunately - It has really suffered on the bed for the last 6 years and is rather tatty already!! I am working on a new quilt (picture as soon as I have it quilted) which is to replace it and I will pension it off somewhere safe then...
