Your beautiful quilt is a great lesson for me in patience. I'm at the early stage of quilting where I look for a pattern that I can finish in 1 or 2 months. Sewing hundreds of hexagons together by hand would overwhelm me, but I love dreaming about doing it! Gives me a feeling of peace - as if I'm in it for the long haul.
