I know I didn't quilt in high school or college, then all of a sudden I was the expert. I honestly can't remember the first project I did. I only hope that someday when I go thru the 1000s of pictures stored here and there, that I find some record of the things I made. One of the most satisfying things I got to do was restore some antique quilts. I worked on a couple from the 1850s. It was a challenge, because the original was so good. Now I make up patterns and try to find more time (and buy more fabric). :D
