I've been sewing since I was about 9. I love constructing my own garments. But truth be told, I didn't start quilting until I was married. I married a military man and money was non-existent and everyone we hung out with were having babies. Two yards of flannel, Two yards of cotton, and some filler was the most I could afford. Their was never a complaint. lol lol From there I went to wall hangings and then to the big kid quilts and the rest is history. I've not stopped and hope never to have to. I do love it!!
