I have a Bernina 1630 that I would like to service. My husband is very mechanically inclined. He has serviced my other machines, built a computer, etc. He would likely do a good job with it if we had a service manual. Does anyone know where we can get the service manual? First challenge is is in getting the case off. There seems to be some sort of latch that prevents it from coming off. Does anyone know how to remove the case?
