We learned to quilt the old way years ago. Now they have something for everything. I think it just depends on how much you want to spend. FOr example, jelly rolls, turnovers, charm packs. There's a template for everything. Once youg et the main ones, all the others are just "specials" with a little extra marking, etc. Anything to get our money LOL. Templates have made life a lot easier.
