The quilting cruise I went on was organized poorly by a LQS. We were on a Carnival cruiseship & they had us doing hand work only & in the disco lounge so hard plastic chairs & poor lighting. I've heard great reviews about cruises with KayeWood etc. where the machines are all provided, etc. so IF you get a chance, I would say only go with a company who has done it successfully many times before. I love to cruise & I love to quilt.... but I have to say the times spent in the classroom were when we were actually cruising so I missed out on alot of deck time.
